• The Text You Select: The text you highlight on a webpage to be summarized.

2. How This Information is Stored and Used

Your API Key: Your API key is stored only on your local computer using the built-in chrome.storage.local API. This means it is saved securely in your browser's private storage.

• We, the developers, never see, collect, or have access to your API key.

• Your key is only used to make a direct call from your browser to the Google Gemini API for authentication.

Your Selected Text: The text you highlight is captured only at the moment you right-click and select "Summarize with AI."

• This text is sent directly to the Google Gemini API to generate the summary.

• The text is never stored by the Extension.

• We, the developers, never see, collect, or have access to the text you summarize.

3. Third-Party Services (Google Gemini API)

This Extension is a tool that helps you use the Google Gemini API. It is impossible for this Extension to function without sending information to Google.

When you request a summary, the Extension sends your API key and your selected text to Google's servers at https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com.

We do not control how Google handles this data. We strongly recommend you review Google's API policies and privacy terms to understand their practices:

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

To be perfectly clear, we do not use any analytics, trackers, or servers that would allow us to see your activity. We do not collect:

• Your browsing history
